CTE - (Employment Development) Career Technical Education

There is a 3% charge for credit (MC/Visa) and debit cards.  We accept cash if you wish to avoid the charge. 

Enrollment for the 2025 Fall Semester will begin September 2, 2025.  

Enrollment for the 2026 Spring Semester will begin January 12, 2026. 

Students need to be enrolled in the class by the first day of the class as listed below. 

The Custodial manual is electronic.  If you would like us to print you a copy and place in a binder, we are happy to do that.  The cost is $20 (cash preferable as there is a fee to use your card).

Per Long Beach Unified School District's Job Description for a Custodian, in part: Employees must have "knowledge of modern cleaning methods" "understand and follow oral and written directions" applicants must also have completed eighth grade. At Long Beach School for Adults our class is taught in English and LBUSD employment tests are also in English.
