Edna the Eagle - Staff Recognition

Our mascot is an eagle, a symbol of strength and courage.  During the school year, staff pass from one to another Edna the Eagle and her Eaglettes to honor the work their colleagues are doing across the campus.  The staff member publicly presents the basket with Edna and her family (the family has grown to include a unicorn and rabbit - symbolizing our uniqueness and our upcoming growth and expansion) along with a personalized certificate in a frame.   Every few weeks Edna and her family make their way to a new recipient.  Our students love hearing other teachers and staff talk about their teacher and enjoy the presentations, they take photos and clap and cheer for their teacher.  Staff display their certificate in their classroom/office and foster Edna and her family until it's time to pass along the praise.  In the main area of our campus a bulletin board displays the recipients for the school year.
