LBAEC - Consortium

The Long Beach Adult Education Consortium (LBAEC), comprised of Long Beach City College (LBCC) and Long Beach School for Adults (LBSA), delivers a comprehensive suite of noncredit and adult education programs serving over 4,000 adult learners annually. Programs include English as a Second Language (ESL), Adult Basic Education (ABE), High School Diploma (HSD), High School Equivalency (HiSET), and Career Technical Education (CTE) in high-growth sectors such as healthcare, business, and skilled trades. Flexible scheduling, supportive onboarding, and a range of student services ensure broad access and support for diverse learner populations.
